to Nadi and Beyond
Flight time from the East Coast is between 3.5 to 4 hours, or a meal, a movie and a short nap. At Nadi you'll be met by an Essence Tours (Aust) representative and transferred through to your beachfront resort on the Coral Coast. Time for a swim or a spa and enjoy your first tropical sunset before dinner. L,D

Kalevu Cultural Centre
Set on an historic village site on the beautiful Coral Coast, at Na Kalevu you'll experience the way of life in a traditional Fijian Village. You'll be fascinated by the culture of Fiji as well as other South Pacific Islands. Includes traditional Sevu Sevu greeting and sumptuous island lovo lunch, and an afternoon of entertainment with their Dance Spectacular. B,L,D

Rivers
Fiji Adventure
Three journeys in one; a highland adventure, a whitewater challenge and a longboat excursion. The adventure begins with an overland journey into the Namosi Highlands, through the lush rainforest interior of Viti Levu. Take on the Wainikoroiluva River and enjoy the thrill of whitewater in your own inflatable kayak. Your Fijian guides will prepare a picnic lunch for you in a secluded garden grotto. B,L.D

of Fiji
Sightseeing up the beautiful Navua River in a motorised long-boat, past villages and tropical rainforests filled with exotic flora. Travel through deep gorges, meandering rapids and cascading waterfalls. Visit a Fijian village, enjoy lunch with the villagers and a traditional meke before riding back down the river on the HMS 'Bilibili' (a lashed bamboo raft also known as HMS "No Come Back")

City Tour / Suva Shopping
Enjoy a fully guided City Tour in air-conditioned comfort. Includes a drive by the Old Colonial Government Buildings, Guard of Honour, President's House, Sports Complex of Suva, Laucala Bay and the new Parliament House,with a fascinating hour at the Fiji Museum. B,L,D

Tivua
Island Day Sail
Set sail on the 100ft former Governor General's Brigantine 'Ra Marama' for an all day, island and cruise adventure. Sunbathe in the bowsprit and enjoy the music and entertainment as you cruise to Tivua Island. Surrounded by 500 acres of coral gardens, snorkel and swim in the warm tropical waters, or just relax on the soft sandy beach. Tivua Island is a private oasis. B,L,D

Sacred
Cave Tour
A natural wonder, with extraordinary displays of natural rock formations, the Naihehe Cave has a fascinating history. It was a fortress to one of the last cannibal tribes - and you'll see some awesome reminders including a ritual platform and cannibal oven. Visit a Fijian village, meet the tribal descendants, take a leisurely downstream cruise on a 'bilibili'. B,L,D

Garden
of the Sleeping Giant
Founded by Raymond Burr, this oasis of tranquillity, nestled in its own shady mountain valley retreat, now displays Fiji's largest orchid collection. In fact, this could very well be one of the best kept horticultural secrets of the South Pacific. After viewing the orchids, you can wander along the canopy covered boardwalk through acreage landscaped with exotic flowers, lily ponds and tropical vegetation. Explore on your own, or with Garden Guides. Late lunch at First Landing where you dine al fresco on the beach looking out over the beautiful Mamanuca Islands. After lunch there's time for some last minute souvenir shopping in Nadi before returning to your resort for dinner. B,L,D

Time for one last swim before breakfast and transfer through to Nadi International Airport.
