- Original or Certified Copy of Birth Certificate
- Valid Passport
- Decree Absolute documents if divorced
- Death Certificate if previous spouse is deceased
- Confirmatory letter on current marital status to be obtained from Marriage Registry where the applicant resides, or statutory declaration signed by a Justice of the Peace or Notary Public or Solicitor to prove that he / she has not entered into a marriage before (This declaration applies to first or second marriages, but does not apply to residents of Australia or New Zealand)
- Consent of the father if under the age of 21 years, or mother if father is deceased.
- Valid marriage ages in Fiji are 16 years and above for females and 18 years and above for males.
- Names of two witnesses who are 21 years of age, or over.
- Applicants from Asian Nationals from the following countries are to apply one (1) month in advance of the intended marriage - China, The Phillipines, Pakistan, Korea and India.
